Myanmar’s Consul-General Daw Win Lei Phyu in Los Angeles, California, participated in the International Asian American Business Expo (IAABE) and business sessions 2026 held at Torrance Marriott Redondo Beach in Torrance, California, on 7-8 August, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The IAABE 2026 is designed to connect international enterprises with the Southern California economy, hosted by the Coalition of Filipino American Chambers of Commerce (COFACC).
IAABE brings together entrepreneurs, investors, distributors, government representatives, and business leaders for two days of structured engagement and opportunity.
COFACC President Gerry Palon delivered the opening remarks at the two-day business expo. The Myanmar Consul-General participated in high-level business sessions and networking engagements alongside the Consuls-General of the Philippines, India and Sri Lanka, exchanging views on business, investment and trade opportunities. The expo attracted more than 300 participants and featured 30 exhibition booths showcasing products and services from Asian and American companies.
IAABE serves as a gateway for companies seeking to enter, expand, or build partnerships in the United States market.
