The Forum on Rebuilding Myanmar: Post-Earthquake Economic Recovery will take place on 30 and 31 May at the Mingalathiri Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw.
The forum is hosted by the Myanmar Narrative Think Tank, organized by the Ministry of Information and the Ministry of Commerce.
The objectives behind the form are to recover the earthquake-stricken businesses, explore new local and international business opportunities in the post-earthquake and leverage Myanmar’s strategic geopolitical position to expand the local businesses, promote domestic products and accelerate business networks.
The form will highlight the following themes “Economic Impact of the Mandalay Earthquake”, “Challenges and Opportunities in Reconstruction”, and “Collaborative Solutions for Business Recovery”, with participants of local business owners, representatives of the affiliated association of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and international economists and observers.
