ACCORDING to the observations at 5:30 pm MST today, due to the western disturbances and the eastern disturbances, development of convective clouds, rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated to scattered in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway and Lower Sagaing regions and Rakhine and southern Shan states and fairly widespread to widespread in Yangon, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon and (northern and eastern) Shan states with likelihood of isolated heavy falls during today evening to 21 April 2025. Advisory People should be aware of untimely rainfall accompanied with strong wind, thunder, lightning, hails and landslides. — DMH
