Rehabilitation work is being conducted on partially damaged offices, staff housing, trainees’ dormitories, dining halls and roads at the Border Area Ethnic Youth Development Training School using modern machinery.
Deputy Minister for Border Affairs Maj-Gen Kyaw Swa Oo, together with state ministers and members of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, inspected the ongoing work yesterday morning and urged officials to complete it on schedule and in line with required standards.
They also inspected the renovation of the Myanma Economic Bank, Township Electrical Engineer’s Office, Construction Department guesthouse and District Agriculture Department head’s residence.
The members of rehabilitation committees in Tiddim and Tonzang inspected damaged government buildings in terrorist attacks and ongoing repair works and coordinated necessary measures.
