The Ayeyawady Region government stated that food and assistance from donors for flood victims in Laymyethna Township, Hinthada District, have been collected at Pathein Sports Complex II and are being delivered to the places where the victims are needed as soon as possible.
Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Aye Kyaw inspected the arrangements for the systematic storage of the assistance and their prompt delivery to the places where the victims are needed yesterday morning.
In addition, the chief minister encouraged blood donations from 102 students of Pathein University, of Computer Studies (Pathein), Technological University (Pathein), and Pathein Education Degree College to mark International Youth Day at the Pathein People’s Hospital by providing nutritious food to blood donors.
