AIMING to facilitate the development of Myanmar’s coffee sector and enhance the sensory skills of coffee experts, Myanmar Women Coffee Network (MWCN) will organize the MWCN Cup Tasters Championship 2026 for the first time in July.
The competition will be held on 2 and 3 July at Yangon Speciality Coffee Hub inside the Secretariat Yangon. Contestants will need to quickly and accurately identify the unique aromas and flavours of Myanmar coffees throughout the competition.
Prizes will be awarded for the champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up. Coffee enthusiasts and experts interested in participating can register via the Google Form by 25 June. The admission fee is K150,000, and each contestant will receive a championship T-shirt. A pre-competition workshop is also being planned, and the date and time will be announced soon.
