The first regular session of the Third Shan State Hluttaw took place at the Shan State Hluttaw meeting hall in Taunggyi yesterday.
The meeting was attended by elected representatives of the Shan State Hluttaw and Defence Services Personnel Representatives.
During the meeting, U Lin Aung Swe from the Namhsam Constituency 1 was elected as the meeting chair.
The chair announced that the meeting had officially commenced, and U Sai Lone Kyaw from the Pekhon Constituency 2 was elected as the Shan State Hluttaw Speaker, whereas U Sai Tun Sein from the Mongping Constituency 1 was Deputy Speaker.
The meeting chair transferred the responsibilities to State Hluttaw Speaker U Sai Lone Kyaw.
The Speaker extended a greeting. The first-day event of the first regular session of the Third Shan State Hluttaw was adjourned, and the date and time for the second-day session will be announced in advance.
