The Third Rakhine State Hluttaw held its first regular session yesterday morning at the state Hluttaw hall. U Naing Oo from the Sittway Constituency 1 was elected chairman, took the affirmations, and opened the session.
State representatives then took their affirmations before the chairman. For Speaker and Deputy Speaker elections, Dr San Shwe of Sittway Constituency 2 was elected Speaker and Dr Htin Lin Oo of Myebon Constituency 2 as Deputy Speaker, with both making their affirmations.
The chairman handed over responsibilities to the Speaker, who delivered a speech before adjourning the session and announcing the schedule for the next day.
