THE Australian Embassy (Myanmar) stated that AUD400,000 will be provided to support flood victims in Ayeyawady Region. The assistance will be supported through local civil society organizations as well as Australia shares the grief of those affected by the floods that have hit many parts of Myanmar.
The Australian Embassy (Myanmar) said that assistance is being provided on the ground, including in many of the hardest-hit areas, through its humanitarian partners.
The assistance will help expand access to clean drinking water, sanitation, hygiene and the distribution of emergency shelter and family necessities. Additionally, it will also provide food and personal protective equipment.
