Leaders must be capable of making sound and correct decisions with good judgment, courage and composure. They need to possess physical and mental capabilities, as well as the ability to think critically, make decisions and formulate strategies. In terms of administration, it is necessary to exercise command and management fairly and impartially, without favouring some and discriminating against others, and administration should not be carried out selectively or inconsistently.

As far as possible, the right person should be assigned to the right position, and administrative and logistical support matters should be handled accurately and in a timely manner. From a leadership perspective, leadership skills are extremely important.

Only those who have first become good followers, possessing obedience to orders and good discipline, can become capable and effective leaders when they assume leadership positions. Leaders need to provide fair and impartial leadership to those under their command, while also complying with existing orders, directives and regulations themselves.

If leaders perform their duties out of self-interest, they will not be able to earn the trust of their subordinates. In such circumstances, the tasks and processes that need to be carried out will also fail to be completed and successfully accomplished on time. Therefore, leaders must set a good example for their subordinates and take the lead in every task that needs to be undertaken, while demonstrating dedication and self-sacrifice and providing training and guidance to their subordinates as they carry out their duties.

For every task undertaken, one must study and acquire sufficient knowledge to be able to clearly explain its benefits and drawbacks. A system of rewards and disciplinary action should be applied to all activities carried out within an organization, with outstanding achievements duly honoured and recognized. Neither disciplinary action nor praise and support should ever be delayed.

In terms of discipline, orders and directives are issued to ensure systematic observance of discipline. Failure to comply with disciplinary requirements in any organization can undermine its unity and cohesion. Everyone must understand that discipline is the backbone and dignity of an organization and all its members, regardless of rank or position.

Only through sound and effective leadership can respective organizations remain strong, resilient and successful. Therefore, leaders must continuously enhance their capabilities and dedicate themselves to serving the interests of their organizations. Only then can the organizations they lead continue to develop, thrive and prosper.
