IN honour of Tatmadaw personnel carrying out national defence and security duties, the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Group (Central) organized its 11th blood donation drive at the No 1 Defence Services General Hospital (1,000-bed) in Mingaladon.
During the event, military medical personnel examined the health of 220 prospective blood donors. Brig-Gen Myint Zaw, Commandant of the hospital, and U Wunna, Chairman of the Myanmar Interfaith Dialogue Group (Central), together with other officials, visited the donors, offered words of encouragement, and presented them with gifts.
In addition, the blood donors were provided with breakfast and lunch, medicines, snacks, commemorative T-shirts, and cash donations.
