A ceremony honouring and welcoming back frontline Tatmadaw personnel who had returned after carrying out security duties for national stability and regional peace was held at the local battalion in Tachilek Township, Shan State (East).
The ceremony was attended by Maj-Gen Soe Myat Htut, Commander of the Triangle Region Command, along with officials, departmental representatives, members of the Myanmar Police Force, members of the Myanmar War Veterans Organization, members of the People’s Militia and residents.
The commander and attendees warmly welcomed back the returning personnel by offering them sprigs of Eugenia and honouring them with traditional ethnic music and dance performances. Afterwards, the commander delivered a congratulatory speech and presented cash awards to the victorious frontline troops.
