THE Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO) will provide educational grants, school uniforms and stationery to the children of film industry members on 25 July, according to MMPO Vice-Chairman U Aye Kyu Lay.
The programme will be held at 9 am on 25 July at the MMPO’s Golden Jubilee Hall in Yangon. Children of MMPO members enrolled in the 2026-2027 academic year will receive educational stipend, school uniforms and stationery.
“We provide educational stipend to the children of our members every year. With support from donors, the association also provides school uniforms and stationery. This year, we will continue to offer the same level of assistance as in previous years and expect to support more than 100 students,” said U Aye Kyu Lay.
The assistance package will include notebooks, pencils, pens, rulers, pencil sharpeners, compasses, umbrellas and school uniforms. — ASH/MKKS
