A welcome ceremony honouring Tatmadaw personnel returning from frontline security duties was held at a local battalion in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State, yesterday morning.
The event was attended by officials from the South-East Command, departmental officials, members of the Myanmar Police Force, war veterans, local militia members and residents.
The returning personnel were honoured for carrying out operations related to state stability and regional peace. An official from the command welcomed them back with a congratulatory speech and presented cash awards to them. The attendees later shared a special lunch with the returning troops. — MNA/KZL
