FOR the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) July, name and date of birth correction will be accepted on exam date 5 July but it won’t be accepted until certificates come out, said the JLPT organizing committee of the Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA).
Test takers who want to correct name and DOB will have to apply themselves at the office of the test site after all sections end, and original test voucher, original ID (passport, driving licence, citizenship scrutiny card) are required.
Test taker will have to fill in the correction form and only name and date of birth are eligible to make correction. The correction is not allowed if name and date of birth are different in ID and test voucher.
The correction period will be unavailable during the certificate issuing period. It will take 2-6 months for applications after the certificate issuing period and may be longer depending on the number of applications.
A correction per certificate is allowed and it is only eligible within a year after the exam date, said the JLPT organizing committee. — MT/ZS
