THE results of the 2026 Matriculation Examination and the 2026 Industrial, Agricultural, and Livestock Matriculation Examination were officially released yesterday morning across the nation.
The results were published online at 4 am via www.myanmarexam. org, where candidates can view results by examination centre, and at result.dme.gov.mm, where results can be checked using candidate roll numbers.
In addition, result lists were made available at respective examination centres and township education offices starting from 6 am for public viewing.
A total of 255,228 candidates sat for the matriculation exam, with 133,673 passing, resulting in a pass rate of 52.37 per cent. For the industrial, agricultural, and livestock matriculation exam, 3,364 candidates sat, with 1,672 passing, giving a pass rate of 49.70 per cent.
The results, including regional breakdowns and the top 10 highest scorers by subject combination, have also been uploaded to www.myanmarexam.org for easy public access, according to the Department of Myanmar Examinations. — MNA/KZL
