TO help resolve the challenges faced by MSME entrepreneurs in the Ayeyawady Region and to facilitate cooperation with banks, including payment arrangements, SEC Solar and UAB Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 28 February.
The signing ceremony, organized by the Ayeyawady Region Chambers of Commerce and Industry, was held at Pathein Hotel. The partnership covers collaboration on products, services and payment solutions, with arrangements enabling bank participation.
According to SEC Solar, the MoU marks a practical step towards addressing the difficulties encountered by MSMEs, particularly those arising from unstable electricity supply. The cooperation aims to reduce operating costs, increase productivity and contribute to environmental sustainability through the use of solar energy.
Under the agreement, MSME owners may select solar installation packages suited to their business needs. Payment plans have been structured in cooperation with the bank to ensure that financing arrangements do not place an undue burden on entrepreneurs. — ASH/KNN
