MYANMAR authorities seized 0.88 million stimulant tablets near Thanywa village in Kyaukse township, Mandalay Region, on 27 October.

The report said that anti-narcotics police searched a vehicle driven by Ko Ko Maung (aka) Chan Pyae Maung, heading to Kyaukse from Taunggyi, and seized the drugs worth K1.32 billion, along with Isuzu D-Max vehicle.

According to the investigation, the suspect transported the drugs from Shan State (South) to Phayathonzu in Kayin State. The offender involved in the case has been charged under the country’s Narcotics Drug and Psychotropic Substances Law.
