ACCORDING to the observations at 4:30 pm MST today, due to the western disturbances and the eastern disturbances, the convergence of warm air from the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, cold air from the China high pressure system and the convective cloud, rain or thundershowers are likely to be isolated in Magway Region and Rakhine State and scattered to fairly widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Sagaing, Ayeyawady and Taninthayi regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon and Shan states with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls during this evening to 4 May 2025.
