BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF 2 MAY 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Magway Region and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Mon and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Rakhine, (northern and southern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is 100 per cent.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Taninthay Region and Kayin, Southern Shan States. The area along the cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered to fairly widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine and Shan States.
