The government has been making efforts to repatriate Myanmar nationals who are facing difficulties abroad by coordinating with the Myanmar Consulate-General and relevant embassies to ensure their safe return to Myanmar.
The Myanmar Embassy to Saudi Arabia communicated with the country’s authorities to repatriate a Myanmar female citizen, Ma Nyein Nyein Khet, who had faced hardships in Tabuk. She was flown from Riyadh on 10 March and arrived back in Yangon on the morning of 13 March.
Upon her arrival in Myanmar, the returnee shared her experiences abroad and thanked the government, the Myanmar Embassy, and the Consulate-General for their assistance.
