A special appeal tribunal consisting of U Tha Htay, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Union and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union: U Thein Ko Ko, Dr Ko Ko Naing, U Win Myint and Dr Myo Win Aung was convened yesterday morning at the Supreme Court of the Union in Nay Pyi Taw and passed judgements for one special criminal appeal case No 7/2026(Yangon) and three special civil appeal cases – Nos: 28/2026 (Yangon), 31/2026 (Yangon) and 32/2026 (Mandalay). Additionally, four special civil appeal cases – Nos 34/2026 (Ayeyawady), 36/2026 (Mon), 37/2026 (Yangon) and 39/2026 (Shan) – were heard.
