PERSONNEL who served under People’s Military Service Training Batch 6, along with those granted service-term reductions, have successfully concluded their designated military tenures. To mark their service, honouring ceremonies were held across respective regional military commands on 30 October, where servicemen received certificates of completion, service medals, and letters of honour before returning to their families and hometowns.

Local communities and family members across various townships, wards, and villages warmly welcomed the returning servicemen with garlands, traditional sprigs of Eugenia, cash awards, and performances of traditional Myanmar drums and dances. Throughout their enlistment, the servicemen carried out national defence, security, and regional stability duties alongside regular armed forces personnel, while also participating in disaster response and rehabilitation operations. During their service, they received entitled salaries, rations, and allowances.

Following the completion of their mandatory service under the People’s Military Service Law, individuals are entitled to rejoin their previous jobs or equivalent civilian posts, remain in active military service voluntarily, or receive designated state benefits. The state and the Tatmadaw expressed appreciation for their contributions as essential reserve forces fulfilling constitutional defence duties.
