SOUTH Korea’s imported car sales rose in single digit last month, driven by strong demand for electric vehicles (EVs) and German luxury models, industry data showed Tuesday.
The number of newly imported passenger car registrations here gained 6.3 per cent from a year earlier to 34,904 in September, according to the Korea Automobile Importers & Distributors Association.
For the first nine months of this year, 279,729 imported vehicles were sold, up 24.1 per cent compared to the same period of last year. — Xinhua
