DEPUTY Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swa Lin, accompanied by senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the Commander of the Yangon Command and other officials, visited and offered words of encouragement to officers and other ranks receiving medical treatment at the Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital (500-bed) in Mingaladon Station yesterday afternoon.
The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) and party arrived at the Defence Services Orthopaedic Hospital(500-bed), where they were welcomed by the commandant and responsible officials.
The General and party visited officers and other ranks who had sustained injuries while discharging State defence and security duties. They enquired about their health condition and recovery, offered words of encouragement, and presented foodstuffs and cash awards.
Afterwards, General Kyaw Swa Lin and party inspected the hospital premises and gave necessary instructions to officials, according to reports. — 100
