Yangon hit 5, Ayeyawady win in M-League U20
YANGON United thrashed Chinland 5-1, while Ayeyawady United edged Yangon City 1-0 on the second day of Matchweek 17 of the M-League U20 Youth League on 30 September.
At YUSC Stadium, Yangon United maintained the pressure on leaders Sports and Physical Education Institute with a convincing win over Chinland. Zwe Khant Aung scored a hat-trick in 13, 45 and 69 minutes, while La Min Pyae Sone and Khun Cho Htoo added goals in 54 and 70 minutes, respectively.
Chinland’s lone goal came from Van Dwet Lan Htawng in 20 minutes. At Bahan Stadium, Ayeyawady United defeated Yangon City 1-0, with Htet Aung Lwin scoring the only goal in 38 minutes. The third day of Matchweek 17 will continue on 1 October, with Galaxy facing Hanthawady United at Bahan Stadium.
