TRADING on the Yangon Stock Exchange (YSX) totalled K5.16 billion in August 2026, with more than two million shares exchanged across its eight listed companies, according to YSX statistics.

The YSX was established in 2015 and currently lists eight public companies and eight companies — First Myanmar Investment (FMI), Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings (MTSH), Myanmar Citizens Bank (MCB), First Private Bank (FPB), TMH Telecom Public Co Ltd (TMH), the Ever Flow River Group Public Co Ltd (EFR), Amata Holding Public Co Ltd (AMATA) and Myanmar Agro Exchange Public Co Ltd (MAEX) — are listed on the security market.

EFR topped the trading on YSX with 1,777,433 shares valued at K3.2 billion, followed by MTSH with 64,069 shares valued at over K565 million, FMI with 27,339 shares valued at K493.8 million, FPB with 65,002 shares valued at K439 million, MAEX with 61,972 shares valued at K412 million, MCB with 2,435 shares valued at K31.6 million, AMATA with 2,081 shares valued at K8.5 million and TMH with 1,094 shares valued at K 3.97 million. Stock trading value was estimated at K2.16 billion with a trading volume of 262,340 shares in July 2026. Stock trading value in August surged by more than K1 billion over July.
