On behalf of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw visited the Embassy of Nepal in Myanmar, located at No 16, Natmauk Yeiktha Lane, Tamway Township, Yangon, at 2 pm yesterday to sign the condolence book following the flash floods in Nepal on 26 August, which resulted in the tragic loss of numerous lives and extensive property damage.
Upon arrival, the deputy minister greeted the Ambassador of Nepal to Myanmar and other embassy officials in the reception hall. He conveyed condolences and sympathy from the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar over the devastating flash floods that claimed many lives and caused extensive property damage in Nepal, and subsequently signed the condolence book.
