THE Myanmar Gems and Jew­ellery Entrepreneurs Associ­ation will offer gem and jew­ellery training (Batch 6) free of charge in September at the Gem and Jewellery Training School in Nay Pyi Taw.

Citizens aged 18 to 30 who have completed at least middle school, are in good health and of good moral character, and can attend the full training pe­riod are eligible to participate in the training.

Applicants must fill out the school’s CV form and submit it in person, by post, or via email to gemtrainingskp3@gmail. com or Viber at 09 764433418 by 30 August. The course runs for five months, followed by two months of on-the-job training (OJT), with participants choos­ing one of four specializations: jade (jadeite), gemstones, stone carving and Jewellery making.

Out-of-town trainees will be provided with accommoda­tion. As the number of train­ees is limited, selection will be based on application order and an interview.
