\A total of 303 members from terrorist groups, namely KIA, KNU, AA, ABSDF, SAF and PSF, who accept the peace process of the State and Tatmadaw, have rejoined society. Those returnees were handed over to parents and guardians at the hall of the Central Command Headquarters yesterday morning.
On the occasion, the returnees handed over 10 assorted arms, 17 magazines, 678 rounds of ammunition and 12 grenades to the commander of the Central Command.
The Mandalay Region chief minister and the commander presented cash rewards for arms and ammunition to the returnees and systematically handed over those who returned to the legal framework to parents and guardians.
More members of the terrorist groups wish to return to the legal fold. If they contact nearby district and township administrative bodies, military camps and police stations, authorities will welcome them with assistance and cash rewards for arms and ammunition. — MNA/TTA
