AS domestic and foreign investments increase, employment opportunities will be created, and domestic production activities will also develop. While efforts should be made to enhance production sectors further, it is also necessary to continuously sustain existing production industries. Through such efforts, the country’s domestic production will improve and expand.

Myanmar already possesses abundant natural resources both above and below ground, as well as a wide range of valuable assets. These resources should be processed from raw materials into intermediate goods, and further transformed into finished products through the use of appropriate technologies. Not only MSME enterprises, but also heavy industries are required to make efforts to promote and enhance production.

The primary requirement is the ability to work and a willingness to work, and in fact, actual work must be carried out. To enable this, entrepreneurs must create and develop workplaces and employment opportunities. Only when citizens can obtain job opportunities within the country’s workplaces can the outflow of the workforce to foreign countries be prevented. This will also strengthen the domestic labour force and contribute to the production growth.

The willingness to work concerns everyone, and since employment opportunities are necessary for people to be able to work, the State will implement and create job opportunities. Relevant authorities need to create favourable conditions to encourage a willingness to work, while citizens should also properly utilize their working abilities for the benefit of the country. Citizens capable of working must strive to improve both their workplace performance and their skills. The development of one’s abilities is a personal benefit, and individual skill enhancement is not only beneficial to one’s workplace but also to the country as a whole.

Knowledge and technical abilities are of importance for working skills. Therefore, relevant departments and organizations must open and provide vocational training courses and technical training programmes in order to produce skilled workers. Since a basic level of education is necessary to attend on-the-job training and technical courses, every citizen should make prior efforts to at least obtain a KG+9 education system. Only then will they have the capacity to understand and master the lessons provided in such training programmes.

It is necessary prioritize that all industries are fully operational and that production increases across regions and states. Relevant authorities must support businesspeople in addressing their needs for financial assistance, labour, and technology. Only then will production increase, the country will develop, and production and development will mutually reinforce each other, leading to further growth of the national economy.
