With the reopening of the Mandalay-Myitkyina communication route, vehicles carrying food and consumer goods, agricultural fertilizers, school textbooks, and exercise books, sent under the arrangement of the State Government, arrived in Mohnyin Township, Mohnyin District, Kachin State for the third time yesterday.
The vehicles carrying urea fertilizer were despatched by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development to ensure that farmers in Mohnyin Township receive and use the fertilizer in a timely manner.
Heads of relevant district and township departments welcomed the arrival of the fertilizer. Tatmadaw members, staff from the General Administration Department, Myanmar Police Force personnel, firefighters, other officials, and residents assisted in unloading and transporting 4,050 bags of urea fertilizer, which were then handed over to the relevant authorities.
