UNION Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win received a delegation led by Mr Daihei Mochizuki, Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), at the ministry’s guest hall yesterday afternoon.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on the signing of the MoU between the ministry and IOM, cooperation with IOM in anti-human trafficking prevention and rehabilitation activities, visa arrangements and domestic travel permissions for foreign staff.
Also present at the meeting were the director-general of the Disaster Management Department, the director-general of the Rehabilitation Department, the deputy permanent secretary, staff and representatives of the IOM office.
