AT the 56th eyesight donation by the Sitagu Cakku Dana Hospital in Hsipaw Township, Shan State (North), conducted from 17 to 22 May, a total of 1,009 patients were covered in medical examination and of them, 407 underwent surgery.
The Sitagu Cakku Dana Hospital in Hsipaw was established in 2008 and it has admitted patients from wards and villages of Hsipaw and nearby areas such as Lashio, Kyaukme, Nawnghkio, Kutkai and Namhsan, Mongngaw and Monglon.
From the first time to this 56th donation, the hospital provided medical examination for a total of 38,581 patients and surgical treatment for 9,867 patients. There are donors for the hospital’s free medical service. — MT/ZS
