Over 16,000 visitors flocked to Ngwehsaung Beach in Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region, during four days (from 16 to 19 October) of the Thadingyut holidays.
Ngwehsaung Beach attracted a huge turnout of travellers, comprising over 15,400 homegrown visitors and 710 tourists in the past four days.
In a bid to entice thousands of visitors to Ngwehsaung Beach, the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism under the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism has been conducting hospitality training, foreign languages courses and work coordination meetings on the recreational quality of Ngwehsaung Beach, together with related departments, hoteliers engaged in the Ngwehsaung hotel zone and relevant institutions.
