The Union of Myanmar Travel Association (UMTA) has invited business leaders in the travel and tourism industry to attend the exclusive UMTA Travel Fair 2026 on 13-14 June at the Sedona Hotel.

It will be a unique opportunity to meet with potential business partners and create new travel plans. Airlines, travel companies, hotels, banks, travel insurance companies, tour guides, travel bloggers and those engaged in the travel industry are invited to join the Travel Fair.

This travel fair, hosted by the UMTA, also aims to recover Myanmar’s tourism industry and create positive impacts on the industry’s growth. Travel destination promotion booths, B2B networking meetings to facilitate global market expansion, Quiz & Gifts programmes, and fun events will be included.

Invited overseas buyers interested in selling Myanmar trips in their countries are tourism boards, outbound tour operators, individual travellers, corporate travel managers, tour operators, travel agents, online travel agencies (OTAs), participants of MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) and travel promoters.

Furthermore, overseas sellers operating to sell overseas trips to Myanmar include National Tour Operators (NTOs), Hotels, Theme Parks, Airlines, Travel Agencies, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Travel Clubs, Corporations and Independent Agents.

Buyer/Seller Meetings will be held on Trade Day (13 June). Interested individuals can register through https://www.umtatravelfair.com/register_local.html. Local Buyer Fees are set at K250,000, while Local Seller/DMC Fees are K800,000, and Local Seller/Outbound Fees are K1.3 million.
