AN MoU signing ceremony for ‘nationwide MMQR rollout & digital partnership’ was held between Capital Retail, G&G Convenience Store, Wellington Pharmacy, and CTZ Pay on 22 March at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, Yangon.
The primary goals of this collaboration are to increase the number of shoppers utilizing the MMQR, to create easier and faster payment experiences for customers and to promote the widespread adoption of MMQR.
The ceremony was attended by officials from Capital Retail Limited, G&G Limited, Wellington Pharmacy, MCB Bank, CTZ Pay, and MyanmarPay Company Limited, along with other guests. The signing marks a unified effort to foster the growth of Myanmar’s Digital Economy Ecosystem.
According to CTZ Pay, this partnership will soon allow customers to make rapid payments using CTZ Pay MMQR at all G&G branches, Capital hypermarkets, and Wellington Pharmacy locations nationwide. This signing is officially recognized as a significant milestone toward achieving the highest level of digital payment adoption in Myanmar.
