A special appeal tribunal consisting of U Tha Htay, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Union and Judges of the Supreme Court of the Union: U Myo Tint, Daw Khin May Yi, U Win Myint and Daw Soe Khet Khet was convened yesterday morning at the Supreme Court of the Union in Nay Pyi Taw and passed judgements for six special civil appeal cases — Nos 37/2025 (Mandalay), 46/2025 (Yangon), 50/2025 (Kachin), 51/2025 (Kachin), 52/2025 (Yangon) and 54/2025 (Ayeyawady).
With regard to a total of five special appeal cases, two special criminal appeal cases — Nos 8/2025 (Mandalay) and 1/2026 (Yangon) and three special civil appeal cases — Nos 42/2025 (Yangon), 49/2025 (Sagaing) and 55/2025 (Yangon) were heard.
