The third day and closing ceremony of the 31st Myanmar Military Medical Conference was held yesterday morning at Tatmadaw Hospital (700-bed) in Aungban, Shan State (South).

Tatmadaw Medical Research and Development Committee Chairman and Director of Medical Services Maj-Gen Ko Ko Lwin, senior Tatmadaw officers, medics, nurses, specialists from the Ministry of Health, overseas specialists, retired senior officers and other invitees attended the event.

In the major symposium, participants discussed the topic titled Rehabilitation in Military Medicine and Strategic Preparedness for Contemporary Challenges, with three special talks and a Clinicopathological Conference (CPC).

The Tatmadaw Medical Research and Development Committee chairman and party presented the first, second and third prizes for research and posters, the young researcher award, and the honorary certificates were given to the conference organizing subcommittees and those who submitted research papers and posters.

He then made a closing speech to conclude the event.
