The full text of the presentations is as follows: –

Everybody, Mingalaba! I sincerely wish and pray for the health and well-being of all the people living throughout the Union of Myanmar.
I am Naw Ohn Hla, Vice-Chairperson of the United Nationalities Democracy Party. I would like to present the policies and stances of our party to the people.
Esteemed people,
The United Nationalities Democracy Party was first registered with the Union Election Commission on 11 December 2019, and for the second time on 7 November 2023. The founders of the party were former Hluttaw representatives who had won seats in the1990 multiparty democratic general elections.
We will strive to ensure that all ethnic groups across the Union can equally enjoy social rights, including the freedom to write, speak, and assemble, as well as the human rights standards outlined in the United Nations Charter and other international agreements. Efforts will also be made to create a society where all citizens can fully exercise the rights granted by law, benefit from full legal protection, and live in an environment governed by the rule of law.
In implementing our goals and objectives, we will collaborate with political parties and organizations that share the same policies and aims. We will consult and coordinate with state-based political parties and organizations to work together on state-level issues. By forming alliances with state-based ethnic political parties that share our policies, we will collectively work toward building a Union founded on democracy and a federal system.
Esteemed people,
The nation will be developed through mutual support, respect, trust, and the united strength of fully recognized diversity, where every community can possess development. This full diversity must be upheld as a fundamental value of the Union.
The Union must also establish respect for human rights as a core value. In addition to supporting the human rights outlined in international declarations, these rights must be respected in practice. Violations of human rights must neither be tolerated nor allowed to occur, and measures must be taken to prevent, oppose, and protect against such violations.
Whether caused by large-scale development projects, natural disasters, human actions, or armed conflicts, violations of human rights against displaced persons and victims must be prevented and stopped. Their basic social and livelihood needs must also be provided and addressed with care.
The foundation of the Union lies in its workers and farmers. Efforts will be made to ensure that workers, farmers, and their families can develop and improve their lives, live in peace, secure their future, enjoy human rights, and experience justice, equality, and fair treatment, while being respected in accordance with human dignity. We will encourage the emergence of a government that the government will actively work to provide guarantees, both under domestic laws and in line with international standards, to improve social development, although it is based on labour.
Policies will be implemented to enable the relevant government to ensure that workers and farmers can systematically enjoy daily social security, safety in the workplace, collective and individual rights, legal protection against harm or injury, a healthy social and natural environment, and freedom and well-being.
Workers’ and farmers’ organizations must have the freedom to form and operate independently. There must be the right to negotiate wages between employers and workers. Activities such as forced labour and child labour must be prohibited by law. Discrimination based on occupation or livelihood must be avoided.
The freedom of expression is a fundamental human right. Everyone must have the right to hold and maintain their beliefs, to receive information and ideas, and to create and share their own thoughts and perspectives.
And then, Kayin ethnic Hluttaw candidate Naw Su Su Hlaing will continue the presentation.
Esteemed people,
I am Naw Su Su Hlaing, and I am a Kayin ethnic candidate.
With the belief that education is the most important investment for the Union, a modern and practical education system must be developed. An education system based on human rights must be established. Efforts will be made to create an academic system that promotes both multilingual education and mother-tongue-based education. Measures will be taken to ensure that ethnic languages and literatures are taught according to regional needs and that necessary support and resources are provided. Steps will also be taken to guarantee the official recognition and operation of national education schools for ethnic groups.
Respect for languages and cultures is a fundamental for building and maintaining peace and mutual dialogue. Efforts will be made to ensure that ethnic groups have the right to learn their languages and traditional cultural practices, access cultural services, and appropriately express and showcase their languages and cultures through media. They will also have the right to use their languages in government institutions and social and economic interactions. Collective rights of ethnic groups in these areas will be protected and promoted.
Esteemed people,
I would like to present that every effort will be made to demonstrate that the ultimate source of authority lies with the people and that State power truly resides in the hands of the citizens.
