ACCORDING to the observations at (17:30)hrs MST today, due to the western disturbance, development of cumulonimbus clouds, the low-pressure cell over the southeast Bangladesh and the cloud moving from the East, rain or thundershowers are likely to be widespread in Sagaing, Ayeyawady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States with likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls and scattered to fairly widespread in Nay Pyi Taw, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon Regions and Shan, Kayah States and strong wind from tonight to 6 October 2024.
