MPT held a ceremony to present a special prize of K100 million to the abbot of Ariya Maggin Vipassana Monastery in Taunggyi, who won the grand prize in the “Kan Htoo Pyaw Shwin Awards” programme. The event took place yesterday morning at the MPT Manager’s Office in Taunggyi, Shan State (South).
Between July 2024 and February 2025, MPT organized two lucky draw programmes — “10-Year Anniversary, Buy and Win” and “Kan Htoo Pyaw Shwin Awards.” Through these programmes, a total of K800 million in cash prizes, including this K100 million special prize, and various telecom prizes were awarded to lucky winners across the country.
“We are pleased to present the K100 million prize to the abbot of Ariya Maggin Vipassana Monastery in Taunggyi. We hope this special prize will support his meritorious activities. We sincerely appreciate all customers who participated in both programmes and extend our congratulations to all winners,” said Mr Yoshinori Yagi, Head of the Business Department at MPT-KSGM Joint Operations.
MPT is currently running the “New Year Bonanza – K150 million” programme from 11 March to 31 July 2025. During this period, all MPT customers have the chance to win prizes, including one grand prize of K100 million and five prizes of K10 million, along with weekly telecom prizes. Winners will be announced live in August 2025. Also, the “Tu Tu Ka Par TikTok New Year Bonanza – K150 Million” campaign offers participants chances to win cash and telecom prizes by joining through TikTok until 31 July 2025.
