KBZMS General Insurance has won the General Insurance Company of the Year award at the 30th Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2026.
Organized by Asia Insurance Review, the awards attracted nearly 185 entries across 16 categories, recognizing outstanding companies in the Asian insurance industry. KBZMS General Insurance of Myanmar was selected as one of five finalists in the category, alongside Allianz Ayudhya of Thailand, MSIG Insurance of Singapore, Phillip General Insurance of Cambodia and PVI Insurance Corporation of Vietnam.
The award marks a proud achievement for Myanmar’s insurance industry. KBZMS said it remained committed to strengthening customer trust, improving services and expanding public access to insurance protection through digital innovation, while contributing to the development of Myanmar’s insurance sector.
The company also reaffirmed its commitment to disaster risk reduction and community resilience initiatives aimed at improving disaster preparedness and supporting safer communities.
