DEPUTY Minister for Construction Dr Thaung Naing inspected the completion of the renovation of two-room, two-storey staff housing and executive officer housing of the Falam Township Development Committee of Chin State and the Highways Department’s warehouse and storage yesterday.
The deputy minister met Falam District and Township Education Officers at the Falam Township Education Office and instructed them to take special measures to increase the pass percentage of the matriculation examination.
He also inspected the preparations for the resumption of the training school at the weaving and vocational training school of the SMEs Department, the start of traditional jap weaving courses, and the renovation of the training rooms.
Yesterday afternoon, the deputy minister invisited the Falam District Police Force personnel being given medical check-ups at the Falam People’s Hospital; the opening of the Falam District/Township Court at the three-story building of the Falam District Highways Department; the renovation works of the office building and staff housing of the Falam Township Cooperative Department, the staff housing of the Falam District Agriculture Department and Falam District Bureau of Special Investigation, as well as the materials from the renovation of the buildings to reuse, with instructions to ensure the proper operation of the office. — District IPRD/MKKS
