YESTERDAY, the ninth day of the 61st Myanma Gems Emporium 2026 continued at the Maniradana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw, attracting large numbers of local and foreign gem merchants.

Since the morning, local gem merchants had inspected jade lots from No 1016 to 2355 displayed under Group C, and a total of 733 lots were sold out. In the evening, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation U Hsan Oo, patron of the Central Committee for the Myanma Gems Emporium, inspected the observation and submission of tender forms for Group C jade lots by the local merchants. On the tenth day, Group C jade lots numbered 2356 to 3073 will be offered through a tender system, and the results will be announced on 17 October.

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation systematically conducts natural resource management activities by maintaining a balance between the sustainable use of Myanmar’s valuable natural resources, limiting the extraction of land resources, increasing the production of water resources, and conserving and protecting the natural environment.
