Myanmar Tourism Bank (MTB) held a launch ceremony for a new service, enabling payments via MMQR using MTB Pay, on 1 October at the MTB Head Office Functional Hall located in Sule, Yangon. The event aimed to develop digital payment systems and further expand cashless payments.
At the launch ceremony, members of MTB’s Board of Directors, MTB CEO U Win Lwin, and the CEO of Bards Limited delivered congratulatory remarks on the MMQR payment service using MTB Pay, the importance of digital payment systems, and the enhanced payment opportunities that will provide greater convenience for users.
Afterwards, U Lwan from MTB’s Digital Banking Department gave a detailed explanation of how the MMQR system functions within the MTB Pay application and the procedures for proper usage.
