A total of 127,276 insured workers in Mandalay Region are receiving healthcare services through 18 hospitals and clinics, including the Workers’ Hospital (Mandalay).
The Workers’ Hospital (Mandalay), six township social welfare clinics, five departmental clinics and six contract clinics are providing healthcare services directly to factories and workshops through Mobile Medical Units (MMUs). These units provide medical treatment, laboratory tests and ECG examinations to insured workers.
In addition, K105.337 million was provided for insured workers’ medical expenses during the five months from April to August 2026. A new diagnostic ultrasound machine has also been installed at the Workers’ Hospital (Mandalay) to further enhance healthcare services. — TWA/MKKS
