These 24 individuals from Bago Region were warmly welcomed at Ayechanpyo Hall of Southern Command Headquarters, with Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, Commander Maj-Gen Soe Kyaw Htet, other relevant officials and parents of the returnees in attendance.
The returnees handed over one MA-3 rifle, one M4 rifle, one carbine, one BA63 rifle, one homemade pistol, three homemade guns, 10 grenades, one pair of binoculars, six magazines and 261 rounds of various ammunition.
