THE comprehensive development of Myanmar’s youth is the foundation and key driving force for national progress.
Therefore, it is necessary to give priority to and focus on the improvement of the youth sector, while also taking measures to enable young people to effectively apply modern technologies. In today’s era, advances in technology and international cooperation have significantly expanded and strengthened opportunities for young people in education, employment and entrepreneurship.
This represents both an important driving force and an opportunity for the youth to actively participate in local and global development processes. In the digital world, information is constantly flowing, and technological advances are taking place at a rapid pace, while challenges that require solutions must also be recognized.
Therefore, when applying technology, the youth must develop critical thinking skills to distinguish between fact and falsehood. They must also be mindful of and pay close attention to artificial intelligence (AI) ethics and cybersecurity, while avoiding actions that could undermine the development and dignity of the country and its people. Above all, they must strive to become responsible digital citizens.
Moreover, as global communication and network connectivity continue to advance over time, the youth should actively and enthusiastically participate in international communities and engage in cooperation. The State is continuously making efforts to strengthen and develop Myanmar’s youth so that they can work alongside the global community as positive representatives of the country. The youth must strive not only to be well-equipped with knowledge and skills but also to become proficient in modern technologies.
They should actively participate in the nation-building process with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability, putting their valuable talents and capabilities to good use. They must strive to become patriotic, outstanding and responsible citizens who are capable of taking the reins and shouldering responsibility for the country’s future development tasks. Young people themselves must also keep their minds open, welcome and embrace everything with broad-mindedness and a positive outlook, and continuously enhance their capabilities so that they can learn, acquire and apply methods and knowledge suited to their way of life. Moreover, they must build themselves up to overcome challenges and obstacles.
That is why the youth have to strive to become good citizens who can contribute to the nation, the youth who can make effective use of modern technologies, scholars and innovators capable of creating innovations and individuals who can seek out and develop ways to promote social and economic benefits.
