AMYOTHA Hluttaw Deputy Speaker Jeng Phang Naw Taung and MP Dr Kyaw Tun of Shan State Amyotha Hluttaw Constituency 6 returned to Yangon on the evening of 28 August after attending the second Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC 2) held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
During the visit, the Myanmar delegation held talks with Cambodian Senate Vice-President Mr Ouch Borith and officials on 26 August. On 27 August, the Deputy Speaker attended the opening ceremony of ISC 2 and delivered a speech. The Myanmar delegation left Cambodia on 28 August and arrived back in Yangon on the same evening.
